Experience our Curated Aperitivo Journey
Experience the ritual of the Aperitivo exactly where it was born. This tour takes you from the historic heart of the Galleria to the fashion-forward rooftops of the Brera district, tracing the liquid history of Campari, Aperol, and the iconic Negroni.
1. Camparino in Galleria: The Birthplace of Bitter
Start your evening where the legend began. Located at the entrance of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Camparino is an Art Nouveau masterpiece. Stand at the ornate bar for a Campari Seltz—prepared exactly as it was in 1915—while admiring the original mosaics and the pulse of the city’s most famous landmark.
2. Terrazza Aperol: The Orange Glow
Just steps away, ascend to Terrazza Aperol for a shift in energy. With a front-row seat to the spires of the Duomo, this is the ultimate spot for a classic Aperol Spritz. The vibrant, modern design mirrors the refreshing citrus notes of Italy’s most famous sunset-colored cocktail.
3. Terrazza Martini: Rooftop Sophistication
Elevate your perspective at Terrazza Martini. Overlooking the Piazza del Duomo from a soaring height, this sleek lounge embodies the “Dolce Vita” spirit. It’s the perfect setting for a Martini Cocktail or a Negroni as the sky turns to velvet, offering one of the most prestigious views in the city.
4. Terrazza Gucci: Fashion in a Glass
Transition into the world of Haute Couture at Terrazza Gucci (located atop the Giardini Gucci). This stop is a masterclass in Milanese elegance, where the cocktails are as meticulously crafted as the decor. Expect refined ingredients, fashion-forward crowds, and an atmosphere that defines the “Quadrilatero della Moda.”
5. Vineria Brera: The Heart of the Arts
Escape the high-octane rooftops for the cobblestone charm of the Brera district. Vineria Brera offers a more intimate, soulful experience. Swap the spirits for a glass of fine Lombardian wine or a crisp Franciacorta. It’s a moment to breathe and enjoy the bohemian intellectualism that makes Milan more than just a fashion hub.
6. Bar Basso: The Cult Classic (Home of the Sbagliato)
Finish your night at Bar Basso, a holy site for cocktail enthusiasts. It was here in 1972 that Mirko Stocchetto accidentally grabbed a bottle of Prosecco instead of Gin, creating the Negroni Sbagliato (the “Mistake”). Served in their signature massive “scafandro” glasses, it is the only way to authentically conclude a Milanese night.
